There are many tours and trips to go on in and around beautiful Nha Trang. We have listed some of the main ones below for your information. For most of these we can usually arrange for you to be picked up and dropped back at our hotel.
Island Hopping Boat Trips
There are several companies based here that offer similar full day boat trips that visit several of the nearby islands. These trips usually include visiting an aquarium, snorkeling, on board live entertainment, floating bar and buffet lunch.
Hot Springs and Mud Baths
There are several hot spring and mud baths you can visit including the original Thap Ba Hot Springs. Its main pool is a scorching 38 degrees centigrade. Even if its raining its still worth going, in fact its a great place to visit on a day when the weather isn't so great. They also have mud baths and a thermal waterfall.
You can get there by taxi or by hiring one of our motorbikes or bicycles.
Spend a day at the nearby Vinpearl island. One entrance fee includes, 9 minute cable car journey to Vinpearl land, Underwater World (aquarium), Water Park complete with many exciting water slides and wave pool, Amusement Park with roller coaster, pirate ship, bumper cars, 4D cinema and many modern arcade machines. All included in the one price. We recommend you watch the once daily Amphitheatre musical fountain and laser show which starts at 7pm. There is a great beach along side the Water Park. So there is plenty to do to keep you busy for a whole day.
You can purchase tickets from us so you don't need to queue up for tickets when you arrive at the cable car station.
15km south of central Nha Trang is Wonderpark. Entrance fee 60,ooo dong, unlike Vinpearl you pay for everything individually. Catch an electric car to the beach or walk (quite a long walk) or hire a bicycle or tandem bicycle. The beach is beautiful and great for swimming and relaxing on the sun loungers. Actually if there has been a storm recently then lots of rubbish is often washed ashore along Nha Trang beach that has been washed out of the river into the bay. The beach at Wonderpark is much further away from the river and is quite sheltered from it also and from my visit recent there under such conditions found this beach unaffected by the rubbish. They have a nice beach side restaurant there too and a good shower block. In winter season it closes at 5pm. Its also possible to stay there at the not so cheap Diamond Bay Resort.
Nha Trang is Vietnam's premier scuba diving location. We can arrange half day (morning) 2 certified boat dives with lunch. You can also do an Intro scuba dive for a similar price or just snorkel with lunch. PADI dive courses can also be done here, ask us for further details.
Sailing | Parasailing | Windsurfing | Kitesurfing and more water sports
There are many water sport activities nearby the Louisane Brewhouse. If you want to learn to sail, they have catamaran sailing which is a fun and easy way to learn.
Our coarse the main reason people come to Nha Trang is for the beautiful bay and long sweeping golden sand beach. Enjoy a bit of luxury and idol the day away on a sun lounger either on the beach or beside the swimming pool at the Louisiane Brewhouse. Note that they do charge for use of a soft sun lounger. The Sailing Club also have sun loungers but don't have a swimming pool.
If hiring a motorbike you might wish to visit Bai Dai beach which is about 20km south of Nha Trang.
For a longer motorbike journey to see an even more awesome beach then travel 60km north then east to Jungle Beach and adjacent Wild Beach. Perhaps stay one night at Jungle Beach Resort before returning to Nha Trang. Next door is the more expensive Wild Beach Resort. For day trippers, you can use the Wild Beach Resort facilities for about 100,000 dong, which includes their beach, soft sun loungers, sun umbrellas and swimming pool. The pool is a decent size and has a tree over it so even in the hot midday sun, its partially in the shade. The sea water here is amazingly clear, if you stay over night, enjoy a night time swim with the 1000's of tiny bioluminescent algae that amazingly light up as you move around.
